You need to use first the register option, then it works.

lars i moved the server so i would not be surprised if something has been brocken. i will test it tonight and make you a reply here.

in the meanwhile you can run the following as a simple console application:

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.ComponentModel;
using System.Data;
using System.Drawing;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Windows.Forms;
using System.Configuration;

private void SetRegistryValue()
    Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey key = Microsoft.Win32.Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey("Software", true);
    // Add one more sub key
    Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey newkey = key.CreateSubKey("");
    // Set value of sub key
    newkey.SetValue("", "True");
   catch (Exception)

ps. i will delete this entry as soon everything works again.
